Artificial Intelligence Patterns

“What’s for dinner?” We’ve all heard this question... whether in our own heads or from our kids. There are patterns of problems that AI can solve – including menu planning – that are related to a lot of the patterns I hear from my business colleagues today, such as:

·       What’s the optimum marketing spend per channel for our product, given the high cost of TV?

·       What’s the best way to monetize our sales leads, given our geographic preferences?

·       What’s an appropriate product offering, given the preferences of this customer?

·       How can we find patterns in the data coming from our websites, given the enormous volume?

Let me restate the original question: “What’s for dinner… given my preferences, my budget, my food allergies, my medical conditions, my time to cook, etc.?” The operative word is “given…

I successfully tackled this problem, working with Yao-Han Pao and Yoshiyasu Takefuji, and have used the similar algorithms to create innovations at General Electric, Verizon, Vonage and others by applying AI Patterns to problems that have:

·       Non-liner constraints

·       Unstructured data elements

·       Distinct customer preferences

·       Similar choices under consideration

·       Intuition and Experience as inputs to the model

There are problems with similar characteristics that AI solves very well.

The questions frequently asked are, “where do I start?” and “How do I identify good candidate problems?”

I can give my opinion by replying to this post, and to accelerate your company’s foray in to AI, I suggest using Suprath Technologies, “AI Identification Matrix” ™ by contacting Nagaraj Govindarao: nagaraj@suprath.com
